It’s been too long! I’ve missed you! I’ve been on a bit of a creative hiatus, but I’m starting to get back to it: refreshing my stash of pens, and scribbling ideas in notebooks while commuting to work on the bus.
I made a calendar for 2024. It was fun to put it together — almost as much fun as the fellow on the cover is having with his giant French fries.
It’s a mix of funny, contemplative, and ridiculous drawings. There’s even a few collaborations with Kristen. It’s printed right here in Victoria by a great local print shop.
You can get a calendar here in my shop.
My wife Kristen made a calendar too:
It’s also available in my shop, so you can get one of each if you wish.
If you haven’t checked out her art, you can see her latest pieces on Instagram, and visit her Etsy shop.
It’s been a long time since I’ve sent out a newsletter, so you may not know that we’ve done a number of collaborations! We made some of them into prints.
What’s next
I’d love to make this newsletter a regular thing, and hopefully it can be something you’d like to read.
My wife and I have all sorts of projects we’re dreaming up, and this feels like a better place than social media to share that journey with you.
Take care of yourself & stay in touch,
Marc

Wow! So nice you’re making wonderful pictures again! I just got a calendar for my friend Bobbie, please let me know if I could include a short gift message to her. Cheers!
So nice to see you and your artwork again! And yes, I’ll read your newsletter. Your return from a creative hiatus is inspiring!
